It's a core IT course and it definitely has good scope. Pick a good college for joining such course.
Many IT / ITES companies demand for BCA graduates, and also pay them well.
Later, you can also opt for MCA or MBA to leverage your qualification.

BCA is a reasonably good choice to start career in IT industry. However with only BCA degree, you may not able to pick up a good and high paying job. You may have to do post graduation such as MCA to have better IT career
