If your main aim is to pursue MCA then opt for integrated MCA course as it will save your 1 year but if you are willing to pursue MBA or any other course apart from MCA then opt for BCA only.

you can do courses related with marine engineering . See generally after BCA students go for MCA . and in today's time you can go for job also.
Do only that course in which you are interested .

The minimum eligibility to opt for BCA is pass in 10+2 exam or passed in diploma, so in any case you have to complete your polytechnic first than opt for BCA.
