Yes, you can take lateral entry without experience also. You just need to have a BCA degree.

You can only pursue BCA if you have opted for maths in HSC (commerce). Maths is compulsory for pursuing BCA.

Hi,
Good to see that you are aware of at which path Industry is moving and Cyber Security/ Ethical Hacking is really a good choice in order to career improvement. Even I suggest many IT professionals grab a basic training on Security. However, going parallel certification course with BCA will be little hectic but if you can manage then no problem. I would strongly advise thinking about Cloud Security Professional (CSSP) and the reason being cloud is future as well.

It is basically based on the university. Some universities offer 3-year MCA and some offers 2-year MCA and few more offers 4 year MCA.

College change or university change after first year is completely dependent on college and university norms, some university allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in first year to apply for the same. For further details contact the college authorities.

Eligibility criteria for BCA in most of the top universities is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English)
so I think u can pursue for BCA.
