IIAM is a private an added standalone skill training institute, offering short term courses in aesthetic medicine and Cosmetology to medical practitioners. The IIAM offers the following PGD programs as under:
1. Post graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Dermatology (PGDCD)
2. Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology (PGDCC)
3. Post graduate Diploma in Medical Trichology (PGDMT)
PGDCC is an online 6 months course and designed for medical Doctors who wants to develops skills and upgrade their knowledge in aesthetic and clinical Cosmetology. The students will be guided on how to start their Cosmetology set up like buying the right equipment and instruments, Marketing Management, finding cost effective distributors and vendors, job assistance etc. After completion of course the Doctors will be equipped with sound knowledge and skills to independently use various aesthetic procedures for their patients in their professional practice. The eligibility criteria of M.Sc Food and Nutrition of Lady Irwin College, Delhi is given below.
Eligibility criteria : B.Sc. (Hons.) in Home Science / B.Sc. (Pass) in Home Science / B.Sc (Hons.) in Food Technology: after (10+2)/ PGDDPHN (1 yr), from Delhi University or any other University whose Examination is recognized by the University of Delhi as equivalent and fulfill other conditions of eligibility. Should have passed Nutritional Biochemistry and any two subjects in the following areas: Food & Nutrition / Nutrition through the life cycle / Public Nutrition / Food Science and Processing / Diet therapy / Microbiology/ Nutrition for Adults and Elderly/ Nutrition for Children and Adolescents.
