Today, the opportunities in fine arts are increasing at a rapid rate in the various sectors.
After completing graduation, you have a choice to work as an art teacher, artist in government offices or photographer. You can also start your career as a freelance worker and go for direction, clothing, photography, television and fashion. You need to have completed 10+2 examination under any stream of education from a recognized board becomes eligible for seeking admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts course. Even though, most of the government colleges do not conduct any entrance examination for admission of students to the BFA course, some colleges are conducting aptitude test and admission is made to the BFA course based on the performance of the students in this examination.

The eligibility is higher secondary of Gujarat state or any other equivalent board with 'English' as one of the subjects, subject to passing the prescribed aptitude test to be held by the Faculty of Fine Arts.

1. Balance- You should identify the weightage of each sections and sub-sections and allocate the time keeping your strengths in mind.
2. You should invest sufficient time in improving, strengthening your vocabulary and reading skills from the beginning. Having good command in vocabulary and grammar will help you score more marks in less

Admission procedure is as follows:
12th or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Admission to the course is based on merit aptitude determined through Departmental Test to be conducted by Department of Fine Arts, AMU, Aligarh.
