Admission to the majority of Bangalore University courses is granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Bangalore university also accepts national and state-level entrance examination scores such as KCET Karnataka PGCET GATE UGC NET/ CSIR NET for admission to the various courses.

The key eligibility requirements for the BFA course are thus as follows:
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a reputable board with at least a 50% overall score are only eligible to apply for BFA [ Bachelor of fine arts] course at Andhra university. Candidates must also get a minimum score of 50% on the entrance exam administered by Andhra University in order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts programme there.

AMU University offers BFA as part of UG programmes. Selection to this programme is based on the merit of the entrance exam conducted by the AMU authorities. The basic eligibility criteria to be able to get admission to this course is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. AMU has not released the fee structure for the BFA programme for the academic year 2023-2024.
