People's University is believed to be one of the premier private universities in Bhopal, India. It has been ranked #=238 in the Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia, 2024, and has built a reputation as a prestigious institution. The university dominates Central India with a vast area of 69.19 acres in Bhopal. The present strength of the university is 4367 students and around 445 faculty staff members. It offers many undergraduate and postgraduate courses: MBBS, MD, BDS, MDS, BSc, MSc, BPharm, BTech, MTech, BBA, and MBA. The placement cell, well developed, has seen its students go out in reputed companies such as Infosys, Dell, and Barbeque Nation. 

The admission of students to the JLU Bhopal MCA programme is conducted on two basis, merit obtained in the qualifying examination and students performance in the personal interview round. In order to prepare for the PI round, students must revise the fundamentals of Computer Applications. Other than academics, students are also evaluated based on their interpersonal skills.
