Biomedical Engineering

Chemical Engineering branch has many characteristics of a Core branch of Engineering, Whether you are studying a Being or a MEng, you'll start your degree with core chemical engineering courses such as pure and applied mathematics, computing and physics. It is more or less an evergreen branch. If you think Biomedical Engineering is something you may wish to pursue at undergraduate level, STEM subjects are the ones you'll want to focus on. Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology are key. The combination of engineering principles with biological knowledge to address medical needs has contributed to the development of revolutionary and life-saving concepts such as: Artificial organs, Surgical robots, Advanced prosthetics, New pharmaceutical drugs, Kidney dialysis. If you are interested in Medical with applied Science then go for Biomedical Engineering else Chemical Engineering having interest on Physics and Mathematics subjects. Later Go on to study a Masters or Ph.D. in both.

Placements: Placements were pretty good when compared to the previous batches. Computer Science engineering had a lot of top companies taking a lot of students. Salary packages ranged from 25 Lacs per annum to 3 LPA. Companies like Citi corp, Goldman Sachs, HCL, Siemens, Mahindra came for placements.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities in CEG. Classrooms are all well instructed with projectors and boards with space enough to accommodate around 100 students. There are separate departments with laboratories. The campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled and there is a ground with fields for all kinds of sports.
Faculty: The faculty are all well trained and all are very supportive. The curriculum is well framed with informative laboratory courses and knowledgeable theory courses. Apart from it, we also have compulsory internship in out curriculum which helps us gain more practical knowledge.
Other: We also conduct a variety of intercollege events which are both technical and cultural.
