You may feel dejected after reading this answer, but I am sorry this is the truth. Biotechnology is emerging field and every year gaining double-digit growth rate. Biotechnology is a heavy subject which requires a lot of professional skills, analytical thinking, perseverance, patience. B.Sc in food and technology because you have an interest in it so you can move ahead in your life and if you do the course which your parents are inclined towards, you will get frustrated.

Both the courses have different curriculum!
Biotechnology is a combination of biology and technology and it is an applied Science whereas BCA is a computer application degree, where you have to learn about programming, network & security, data structure etc.
Both has huge scope in their respective fields. Choose upon your interest!

B.Tech in food technology is the best option. In the food industry, there are more jobs for food technologist.
