Of course, you can apply for JCECE. No matter from where you have passed your class 12th. But, when you are filling form of JCECE, you have to mention about your domicile state.

BIT Sindri is a government college, and government colleges don't have management quota seats. You need to give JCECE for getting admissions in BIT Sindri. All the best.

Mining engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the identification, extraction, production and processing of valuable minerals from a naturally occurring environment. As Jharkhand is very rich in minerals so it is having good scopes for mining engineering, it do have also immense opportunity abroad. So you can go for it. All the best.

Almost, every institute offers admission for lateral entry same as Birsa Institute of Technology do. BIT conducts separate exam for that and the number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.
