The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech courses at Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel Global University (KPGU) have a combination of merit and entrance exam scores.
For Gujarat State Board students, a merit list is prepared with 60% weightage given to 11th and 12th-grade scores and 40% to GUJCET scores.
For students from other state boards, the criteria shifts to 60% weightage for 12th-grade scores and 40% for GUJCET. And some seats are allocated based on JEE Main scores for All India category students.

B.E. / B.Tech in IES College of technology requires that the candidate should have qualified the 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects compulsory. There should be a minimum mark of 45 % in aggregate (40 % in reserved categories). The admissions are majorly conducted based on the scores of JEE Main and then ahead counseling of MP BE. Lateral entrance into the second year is feasible to Diploma holder in Engineering, or B.Sc. graduates with Mathematics, on comparable percentage terms.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET, Lucknow), the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the JEE Mains or the CUET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

- Minimum Marks: Secure at least 50% marks in PCM (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- Entrance Exams: Appear for JEE Main and UPTAC examinations with a valid score.
Additionally, admission is based on JEE Main scores followed by UPTAC counseling. The selection process involves a valid score/rank obtained in the AKTU SEE/JEE Main examination .

The eligibility for B.Tech in KJ college of engineering and management research is that students should have passed in 12th with minimum marks of 45% in mathematics, physics as mandatory subjects along with biology or biotechnology, chemistry, technical vocational subject.
