For admission to B.Tech in S. Veerasamy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, the eligibility criteria are:

Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or Higher Secondary Board

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination a maximum of two times

For admission to B.Tech, one must have passed 10+2 examination from any board in Science stream. For admission to B.Tech, it is beneficial to have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) group as core subjects.

1. Educational Qualification:

Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

Minimum 50% marks (relaxed for reserved categories as per government norms).

2. Entrance Exam:

Candidates must appear for EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

3. Age Limit:

Applicants should be at least 16 years old.
