Eligibility for UG courses is 10 + 2 passed and the same for PG courses is a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Selection for B.Tech and M.Tech is done on the basis of the entrance exam (Assam CEE and GATE respectively) whereas, for all other courses, admission is done on the basis of merit in the previous qualifying examination.

The eligibility criteria for admission to BTech at LUVAS is that candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, achieving a minimum of 50% marks in the combined subjects. For SC/ST candidates from Haryana, the minimum requirement is 45%. Admission is based on the score obtained in the Dairy Technology Entrance Test (DTET) conducted by LUVAS then for selection is based on counselling.

The minimum eligibility requirement for the B.Tech programme at IFHE Hyderabad - ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education is as follows:
