Getting a good score in CAT will give you ample opportunities from different MBA colleges. You will get calls from different colleges and then you will get an opportunity to sit for the GDPI for the respective colleges. Good luck.

Yes, there are colleges in Mumbai University. Those range between 2-3 Lacs for two years. So, without any hesitation, please keep your preparation ATIT best.

Yes, you can aim different exams such as CMAT MHT CET, NMAT, XAT for getting into good college. There are private exams for private colleges as well.

I would suggest that you should go for IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University, Sake, Delhi. It is a Public/Government University, and is UGC Approved and Member of AIU. It is a Central University. https://www.shiksha.com/university/ignou-indira-gandhi-national-open-university-delhi-3030.

To admit in MBA, you have to have a Graduation degree first. After Diploma, you can join graduation course directly to the 2nd year. Then, from there you need to complete your graduation, and then you will be eligible for the MBA. All the best.

My sincere advise is do not look for a college without competitive exam score. If you think your CAT score will not be good, think of other exams. There are cases where a person does badly in on e exam but does lot better in other exams.

Since it is an open ended question and unlike the others questions on the platform, it is reflective in some sense, so I will answer in terms of what I think and believe. Both engineering and MBA are too mainstream. Both have been the typical things to do, since years. Engineering is now made fun of because it is the only field where supply exceeds demand and because of which people are jobless. It completely depends upon your preparation for the Exam. I won't say tough, as every year many students clear this exam. I will describe CAT exam as one of the most justified competitive exam in India. If you prepare yourself better, then you will have a better life in future.

After getting a good percentile in CAT, the IIMs where you have applied looks at your profile, and they judge you on the basis of your class 10th, class 12th, undergraduate, CGPA marks. Weightage given to CAT is around 30-50%.
