It varies a lot by college. IIM Bangalore graduates often get packages upwards of INR 30 Lacs per year. Other good private B-schools in Bangalore typically see average packages between INR 6-10 Lacs per year. Always check the latest placement report on the college website before deciding.

I think one reason GIBS Bangalore attracts a lot of MBA and PGDM aspirants is because students hear about it from seniors and alumni. That's how I first came to know about it too.
After joining, I realized there was always something happening on campus—guest speakers, competitions, workshops, company interactions, or student activities. It never felt like a place where you just attend classes and go home.
Another thing is that the college gives students enough opportunities to improve themselves. Some people become better at public speaking, some build confidence, and others discover what kind of career they actually want.
