Presidency College has shown impressive growth in recent years, with growing placement percentages and strong packages, not for MBA students per se, but for technical roles.

MBA from Presidency College is more affordable than from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The total tuition for Presidency College is INR 6 Lakhs, whereas the total tuition for Amrita School of Business is around INR 12 Lakhs. While Presidency College is more affordable upfront, Amrita offers tuition fee waivers of up to 70% for top entrance exam scorers.

As an autonomous institution affiliated with Bangalore City University, Presidency College has the flexibility to update its MBA syllabus more frequently to match corporate demands. MBA is offered at PG level for the duration of 2 years. Students need the score of exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, etc. to get into the programme. Students who have passed the undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
