Yes, Assam University does offer internships to its MBA students. Even, students need to go to the compulsory Summer Internship as assigned by the department. All MBA students, after their second end-semester examination is over and before the commencement of the third semester in the second year, will have to compulsorily undergo a summer internship of preferably eight weeks duration.

HNGU offers a full-time MBA programme lasting two years. To be eligible for MBA admission, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. To be eligible, they must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in their graduation. Additionally, they must present the required documents to prove their eligibility at the time of admission. The institute does not release the cout-wise placement statistics. As per the student reviews available on Shiksha.com, NIT Silchar MBA placements were given an average rating of 3.6 stars (out of 5). One of the reviewers commented "the highest package is INR 12 LPA, with an average package of INR 6 LPA and the lowest package of INR 4 LPA. Top companies are Amul, ITC, Berger Paints, IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Raychem, Star Cement, etc." (Review submitted in 2024).
