At Department of MBA placement preparation and readiness starts right after the admission for every student. Process starts with identifying the basic skills and improvement areas and goes on with conducting foundation, added advantage courses, monitoring the progress of each student, and enhancing the readiness to compete with the best. Placement of the department is overseen by Placement head of the institution and department coordinator. Students are well placed in several leading multinational companies, leading Indian organizations and start-ups across a wide spectrum of industry verticals like Banking & Finance, IT, Management Consultancies, Manufacturing and Consumer Goods. Leading brand names like Accenture, Amazon, Axis Bank, Ernst &Young, J P Morgan, L&T capital and many others have offered summer internship or full-time employment opportunities to the students in the past. In the session 2019-20, 88% students were placed, 68% students were placed in the session 2020-21 I. e. 36 out of the batch of 53 students were placed, with 20% of the students in HR Marketing, 33% in Finance Marketing and 47% in HR Finance.

Tier 1 BLACKI IIMs will not give you a call because they give a lot of weightages to past marks. However, at this percentile like Amritsar and Bodh Gaya will definitely give you a chance so prepare well for your calls and GDPI, best of luck! And congratulations on securing a good CAT Percentile. For admission to MBA/PGDM programmes, the All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test, also known as the MAT. Multiple times a year, the exam is given in four phases: February, May, September, and December. Candidates who meet the requirements may be admitted to more than 800 business schools that accept the MAT. The MAT exam is offered in three different formats: paper-based (PBT), computer-based (CBT), and remotely proctored (IBT). According to their preferences, candidates can select any mode in which to take the exam. All three exam formats share the same fees, exam format, and syllabus; however, the dates for admit card download and exams vary.
A management entrance exam is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, or MAH CET. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, administers the exam, which is officially known as MAH MBA/MS-CET, for admission to MBA programmes at various institutions in the state of Maharashtra. Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Reading Comprehension are all part of the MAH MBA CET exam syllabus. Following the MAH CET MBA, candidates will be assigned MBA seats in MAH CET participating colleges based on the results of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or Counseling. Candidates can engage in MAH CET MBA counselling directly for admission to MAH CET member universities if they have valid results in the CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, or ATMA.
Both are competitive exams hence the difficulty doesn't matter but your rank does, however MAT is a little on the easier side while MH-CET has no negative marking and has colleges like JBIMS under its fold. Best of Luck!
