Its a bit difficult I guess. You can go through their counselling session and if you didnt get any seat then maybe you can try through management quota.

In tier 2 or 3, youve to personally develop yourself and lookout for various courses related to your field and scope of that course, Its better to choose CS/IT from tier 2 or 3 colleges because there is no scope of ME/CIVIL/EC (the worst) and learn coding irrespective of your branch (read my other answers for detailed analysis). Also maintain a CGPA around 8.0 or above 75% in B.Tech to get in a good company or for applying for a better internship or college. The management over is excellent I would say and very helpful specially the campus interviews would be the good to go. Overall career wise they have some really good companies coming on for the campus interviews. And afterall it really depends on your skills.
