It's kind of similar, but not exactly same. You might find same genres of sections, some may be clubbed or separate. But CAT in general is tougher than a PO exam. So, practice hard for CAT you might end up clearing the PO exam atleast.

Simultaneous degrees are not valid or legal in India as of now. But UGC has started discussion on that and let's hope that something positive comes out of it.
