Hello,A good and reputed college giving these degrees is way more important since both MBA and PGDM are considered to be equivalent in India. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/ranking/top-mba-colleges-in-india/2-2-0-0-0

Hi,
You cannot get direct admission in any AICTE or UGC accredited college without appearing for an entrance exam. However, you can search for colleges that take students based on their Academic score and give them a chance to appear for an entrance test in a later date.

Hello,Since all the top-ranked colleges in India are renowned for their placements, you should ideally target the college rather than the degree since both MBA and PGDM are considered to be equal in India.

There are a lot of articles available online to prepare for CAT. However, for a better preparation I would suggest you to join some coaching classes, or if you don't wish to do, so you may prepare on your own. But, make sure that you practice as many mock tests as possible before the final exam.

Apart from CAT, there are many other entrance exams like XAT, SNAP, and IIFT each of which is associated with a reputed college. However, if you wish to get into an average B School with average placement package without giving these exam,s then you can try giving CMAT which is comparatively easier and you can also target good colleges from there.

Hello,
Since the MBA exams can be given later, you can skip it (after letting the college officials know) and appear for the CA exam since it's more valuable. All the best.
