Only a distance learning course wouldn't be of much help, you should have opted for a full time degree course. A PGDM is equivalent to an MBA, you can look for job opportunities and those will depend upon what other qualifications you have.

It's better to do full time course as only full time courses are AiU accredited. I recommend you should go for IIHMR Delhi which is the best instt for health management and is also AIU accredited.

You can pursue an MBA (Finance) from IGNOU through Distance Learning Mode which would cost you less and take time and read. Meanwhile, you can work also.
