All the reputed colleges for MBA in HR admit students only on merit basis and not by any other means. Apart from CAT and SNAP, you can also give XAT and TISSNET for XLRI Jamshedpur and TISS Mumbai respectively.

in today's world competition in any field is very high so don't take it easy and syllabus is cast for the basics concept you can refer quantitative and logical reasoning by RS aggarwal for English part grammar practice upto 10th level and read articles, editorials in the English newspaper it will help you to improve reading comprehension skills. Quantitative aptototude, logical reasoning by Arun Sharma is also very good books for CAT preparation do practice alot because CAT most important thing is time management so don't confuse about study material go for the latest edition only dilr needs more practice so do practice however yo

There are a lot of courses for MBA in hospitality. However, you need to make sure that you scores at least 50% and above, if you want to qualify for a good college and remember to give the exams conducted by the colleges.
