PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management is offered by autonomous institutions as they cannot offer MBA. Today most of the students are in a confusion whether to opt for an MBA or a PGDM. Both are different but PGDM has got a couple of benefits when compared to MBA. The major plus of PGDM course over MBA is that the curriculum of PGDM is more flexible. It will get updated from time to time. Yes, you should try to score well in your board exams. It will be fruitful during your percentile calculation of the CAT exam. Concerning eligibility criteria it may vary year to year. But for the last 6 to 7 years it has been similar. For detailed information about eligibility criteria.

For MBA in Anna University distance education you need to appear DEET Distance education entrance test conducted by CDE Anna University itself and entrance examination is already over on 24.02.19 not TANCET required. For Madras University, you need clear entrance examination.
