The best option would be to go with MBA, as it will help you in your career growth and since you have done Economics Honors, then MBA will help you in getting a good job at higher management positions. Also, you can go for MBA after getting some experience also. Pursue MBA from a reputed B-School, then you will get better opportunities.

Minimum 50% in graduation is eligible for writing CAT exam & if you score high in CAT, then definitely you will get a call. After you get a call from any IIM, to complete admission procedures, they will consider academics & give weightage as per the mark. But, if you perform well in Group Discussion, Personal Interview & What, they will consider you for getting an entry.

The decision to go to a college is entirely based on a student's psyche.
Weighing the pros and cons of any college according to set parameters is entirely a subjective decision which differs from students to student.
Taxila gives students an environment to grow and learn and eventually get placements at a minimum of Rs 12 lakhs. Getting into Taxila is not everybody's cup of tea, getting admission here is also going to be a tough fight amidst the students aspiring to get into Taxila.
