Please don't do any mistake by giving both groups separately. As in my knowledge and as per the ICAI statistics, the students who gave both groups separately are falied in nov 2019. But don't confuse now, you have to take decision after completing atleast 2 subjects. Otherwise, you know your capability that will you be prepared for the both groups simultaneously or not. CA is a professional course that you can pursue independently by clearing an open test which is conducted by the CA association. In fact you need not pursue B.Com to become a CA. Post completion of your 12th you can enroll for the CA foundation programme.

It is purely based on your interest and the area you wish to work in. The scope of work for a CA is mainly in the field of finance and accounting area whereas MBAs have more diversity to choose from.
