Faculty of Law is very strict in terms of attendance and rules have become even stricter in the last few years. Fewer teachers are willing to mark proxy for long term absentees and not having a minimum attendance disqualifies you from sitting for the exams. Hence, not attending classes regularly in DU can directly result in detention. When such detention is in the earlier semesters, one still has the option of covering up by sitting for those exams later. However, in the final year, missing attendance can lead to wastage on an entire academic year.

The minimum eligibility for non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with an aggregate of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with Maths with an aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Competency Professional Test and are permitted to register for Professional Competency Course. Indian Air Force hire Accounts officers as Permanent Commission (for Men) / Short Service Commission (for Men & Women) by AFCAT Examination. Accounts officers are responsible for efficient financial management of funds. They act as internal auditor to ensure a zero-defect audit from outside agencies. You can appear for AFCAT on becoming CA. You can also join Indian Defence Services as Commission officer by appearing in CDS examination conducted by UPSC. CDS entry consists of written exam conducted by the UPSC, followed by conduct of the SSB interview, medical test and final preparation of merit list by UPSC.

Pass rate of CA examination is traditionally very low. Students who enrol for CA after 10+2 face lots of challenges in case they are unable to complete CA curriculum.
