You can opt for Diploma in event management, it is one-year Diploma offered by IGNOU and it's helpful for commerce students, there are many courses, which was offered by IGNOU you can select any of them, they will definitely help you in your upcoming future.

Yes, you can do Merchant Navy course being a chemical engineering student. Career as a merchant navy can be pursued as an officer in mainly filled like Marine Engineering ( deck). The following streams of study are eligible in India for young aspirants who wanted to join on the deck. You can explore about- 3 years degree course in nautical Science (12th) aspirants.
- 4 years degree programme in Marine Engineering (12th) aspirants

Yes, you can do B.Com with CA course, but it becomes difficult for a regular student to do both the things, otherwise CA syllabus is almost same as B.Com's syllabus. And now it's legally allowed to pursue two courses together.

Hello tanmay, The Chartered Accountancy Course is divided into three levels I. e. CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final. To become a CA in India, you must pass all these three levels of CA including three years of Articleship Training. Thus, it takes a minimum of 5 years for you to become CA after the 12th.
