The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Tuesday released the exam dates for the CA Intermediate and Final examinations. The Intermediate examination will be conducted from May 3 to 18, 2023 and the Final examination will be held from May 2 to 17, 2023.

1st Step: Pass 10+2 and then register with the Board of Studies (BOS). Do registration by December 31 for CA Foundation May Session and by June 30 for the November session. 3rd Step: Apply for CA Foundation as per the schedule. 4th Step: Appear for the Foundation examination in November/ May.

CA course is designed in such a manner that student can get the professional Certificate at any stage of their life as there is no age limit to this. The CA course duration is scheduled to be completed in 4.5 years.

One can become a CA after class 12th or graduation. The candidates must clear three levels of examinations conducted by ICAI, Hence the total duration of CA course after 12th class is 4.5 years. CA Foundation Eligibility is that students must pass class 12 from a recognised school with 50%. .

You will require a commitment of 6.5 years to become a CA. If you ask us, How it will take 6.5 years to complete CA course after 10th standard then you need to read the step by step timeline. Hence CA course duration after 10th class is 6.5 years!

Maths isn't required for CA. It's a great choice for commerce students who didn't choose maths. A three-tier exam is required to become a Chartered Accountant.
