The University of San Francisco as well as San Francisco State University are two well-known institutions in US and good abroad options for students. When it comes to rankings, the University of San Francisco beats San Francisco State University with the rank #115 in Best National Universities in US News & World Report Rankings 2024. The latter has been ranked #178 in the same category. When it comes to QS World University of Rankings, the University of San Francisco again has an upper hand with the rank #1001-1200.
