Both UCSF & UCLA are considered among the best higher educational institutions in the US. However, admissions at both institutions are very competitive as both recieve thousands of applications for a very limited number of seats.

The University of California: San Francisco acceptance rate is 13%, while that of UCLA stands at 9%

Though both institutions are very selective, securing a seat at the San Francisco campus is marginally easier than doing so at the Los Angeles campus.

The Oakland campus of Northeastern University has the same acceptance rate as the main campus as a part of the Northeastern University system. The campus has received an overall acceptance rate of around 5.2% which makes it extremely selective for international student admissions.

The students who have received admission to the Northeastern Oakland campus can change to Northeastern main Boston campus after their first year or they can choose to continue to study at the Oakland campus.

The high acceptance percentage shows that the university is lenient during admission and follows an easy approach while selecting candidates for its UG and PG programs. Also, as per the official statistics, the university gives precedence to certain factors, including the academic GPA, recommendations, standardized test scores, and application essays.
