Hi,
In most of the courses like medical or engineering, college counseling is engaged so that a student can know about the various courses offered by different colleges where he or she can pursue his/her career confidently. Usually a lot of colleges participate in counseling and a particular college engages counseling on behalf of other colleges. Hi,
If you are a student and you want to finance your own studies, you can take a student loan. You can also work part time and earn a side income while you study. If not, you can work for few years, save money and then invest that money in your education or you can opt for part time courses where you can earn and learn at the same time.
All the best.

Hi,
In Mumbai, lot of colleges offer Masters in counselling or psychology. Mumbai university and SNDT university have a lot of courses related to psychology and counselling - both full time and part time.
If you are interested in distance courses, I would suggest IGNOU as it offers a lot of degrees, diplomas and certificate courses in various areas of counselling.
All the best.

The only thing you need to have is good reputed the institution with a high calibre staff (as in private colleges) and good patient input in the institute (as in government colleges).
If you have a hunger to learn the skills then the limit .sky limit.

Yes, Shiksha study abroad counseling service is free for students. It's free because we make money from universities, who pay us for promoting their courses to Indian students (you will notice banner advertisements at various sections of our site) and sharing students with them. So it's a mix of advertisements and commissions model.
Universities pay Shiksha because:
- They are interested in promoting their courses to the Indian students interested in studying abroad (in case you don't know, India is 2nd largest student recruitment market in the world after China). International students bring more diversity and pay higher tuition than do
