B.Sc in statistics: It is the most sought stream but the toughest to crack. Try for ISI entrance exam. You can also go for maths and computing. If your interest is in mathematics, you can try for IISc, ISI and CMI as they are even better than IITs and when it comes for mathematics or research related courses. Since, you are in 12th, you can try RMO, IMO or INMO as this could give you access to the best colleges in the world.

HR is diverse and definitely provides challenging roles. The growth is slow compared to other specializations like finance and marketing. Whereas others depend on data, market, customer analysis, HR depends on people analysis. Nowadays there are various challenging roles in talent acquisition and learning and development.
