The best way to get into media and entertainment industry is to take up the specific course. You can take admission into PG Diploma in Journalism in IIMC and get a job in this industry. This is an apt way to join the industry.

There is no way to directly get into event management, as event management companies nowadays do not hire people from other backgrounds. It would be great if you can take up short term course in event management and then apply for jobs in the same.
