Since it is an emerging field and a lot of people don't know about it, there is vacancy in bioinformatics. So, if you want to pursue higher education, complete your doctorate and become a researcher,then go for bioinformatics but if you want to get a job after college then go for information security.
Although you will face steeper competition in the field of information security.

I am very happy to see that someone is pursuing his dream of becoming a sportsman full-time. You have to give everything. I would advise you to pursue graduation in arts faculty since it would be easy for you to study and pass alongside cricket coaching.
