First of all it is not a course which determines the career prospects and salary. The nature of the industry and it's application in the modern world only results in career prospects if one chooses that industry. Similarly the skill set, qualification, communication, projects done as per industry standard and many other factors determine the salary of a fresher. Dear Monika,
A break in one's career can be a challenge specially in the beginning. Certificate course in HR might not help you much unless you have anything specific in your mind such as HR analytics or payroll etc. Instead brush up your knowledge and start applying, there might be some corporate who would like to hire. You can join recruitment consultancy to begin with, later on can try moving to corporate HR.
