St. Xavier College Mumbai is the only institute in India, which offers a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Computational Biology, a 3-year undergraduate course (which is currently changing to 4 years course from June 2025 under NEP) and a 2-year post graduate course by name MSc in Biotechnology. They do not only provide a combined B.Sc.+M.Sc. course in Biotechnology. One can even do B.Sc., then on successful qualification become a candidate of the M.Sc. program.
