These certifications are issued by DGCA approved medical examiners (click on the following link to get the list of DGCA approved medical examiners-CLASS II MEDICAL EXAMINERS LIST). The examiners are generally the military and civil medical professionals who check your mental and physical fitness. The examination includes inquiry about your medical history (illness and diseases in the past), eyesight test, ears test, ECG, Lung function test, cholesterol and haemoglobin blood test, chest X- Ray and urine test. It is highly suggested that you follow a healthy and hygienic lifestyle, avoid drinking and smoking for at least 3 months to pass these tests.
