You can get into research field.
You can get into industrial research.

After completing class 12th, you need to appear for various entrance examinations. Different entrance examination have different percentage requirement. You can check with the website of different entrance examination for exact figures. I would suggest, you should appear for JEE Mains and Advanced exam. These two entrance examinations provide admissions in IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest, you should appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve

I am also from ICSE board and I will suggest you Biotechnology because it is a very vast subject and it carries different fields in it.
