Indian Maritime University conducts Joint Entrance Test for admission in various colleges for different degrees to join Merchant Navy. Eligibility criteria for degree in nautical science and marine engineering is as follows 10+2 / equivalent (PCM-60% & English- 50% ). In case of SC/ST candidates, there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks.

Which field you should choose is apparently a decision to made by you. With your vast experience you should now decide what your career plans are and what interests you. Do you want to remain in the sales and marketing domain or shift your career? I would suggest an MBA, however the specialisation is something you must decide.

Hello Siddhi,
CPL course will cost you around Rs.30 lakhs from Bombay Flying Club, but for the exact amount, you have to contact BFC. BFC is the best flying club in India.

Hello Mangesh,
You have to complete your CPL, then you will be allowed to join IAF.
Possessing a CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) is an added advantage. But, in order to join IAF, even CPL holders have to go through tough selection procedure that consists of written test, SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, medical examination, etc.
A candidate must have at least a graduation degree from a recognized university (3 year or 4 year graduation course). He/she must have undergone class 12th from science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the main subjects. (This is also mandatory for CPL training).
