Hello,
To be an engineer, you need to have science with PCM (physics, chemistry, mathematics) background. So unfortunately, in your case, you're not eligible to be a software engineer.
However, If you had mathematics and computer as your subjects in 12th board examination, you can get for BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application), which is a 3 years course, followed by MCA (Masters in computer application) which is also a 3 years course. In case, you didn't have mathematics as a subject in 12th, then you can learn a course of your interest from reputed computer coaching institutes like NIITs etc.

Acting is a good career but only few talented and lucky are able to make reasonable career in acting. Don't choose acting as a career based on its glamour. There are lots of struggles and sacrifices to make name & fame in acting career.

Yes, it's correct that getting a job in core electronics is difficult (but not impossible). IT jobs are easily available in comparison. To get core job you can appear for GATE and score good and get into PSU sector. This is one option you can look.
