Hi,
Your choices to start technical career in IT is limited. You can do BCA and MCA to become a software engineer. But, most of the good universities and institutes have maths at 10+2 stage as eligibility criteria for BCA and MCA. You will miss joining such colleges. However, you may be able to do BCA+MCA from few colleges who allow non-maths students to join BCA + MCA. You may evaluate Symbiosis.
You can also aim to become business analyst in IT by doing BBA + MBA with domain knowledge and BA certifications such as IIBA or BCA, etc.

Students interested in academia and R&D take up M.Pharm or Ph.D. It will not only add a higher degree and greater career opportunity to your CV but also, you can become a professor in the Indian universities.
For this CSIR NET exam is held twice a year: CSIR NET Exam - Assistant professor
