The general eligibility criterion for an air hostess in a majority of airlines is as follows:
(a) 10+2 pass from a recognized board of education. Some airlines prefer graduates.
(b) Age of candidate should be between 18 to 25 years
(c) Min. height required is 157.5 cm and weight should be in proportion to height
(d) Good communication skills with mastery over spoken Hindi, English. Foreign language certification will be a good additional qualification.
In case you fit well in all these requirements then you can give this a try.

In case you fit well in all these requirements, you should complete the 12th first then opt for any course.

To become a commercial pilot :
* You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in science (physics and mathematics) with 50%.
* Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
* You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

After completing class 12th, you can pursue Bachelor in journalism and mass communication and get all the knowledge and skills to enter into media industry for different profiles like reporter, photographer, content writer, etc.
Otherwise, few leading news channel offer 1 year Diploma in news reporter, but that is after graduation and for that you need to contact particular news channel. There are many university offering Master of journalism program for graduate students.
