To make a career in computer and IT, you need to have a strong hold on mathematics. Get a good mentor and start studying hard.

Any kind of simultaneous academic education is practically feasible, but extremely tough for the candidate. One of the course suffers and may tend to become a liability in the due course of time. If you have the confidence and the interest, then you should go for it.

You can prepare current affairs, general knowledge and Indian history.

It is not necessary to join a coaching institute.

Without CCNA or CCNP certifications, it will be hard to get a job in networking field after completing B.Tech. If you don't want to do CCNA certifications, then the best option for you is to join a networking company after completing B.Tech, either as an intern or if you get a full time job, which would be great.
