You can go for certification to add value to your profile like ITIL, Six Sigma, etc. And once you have a relevant experience, you should go for project management.

The selection is made on the basis of a Test. Reservations are followed. The list is prepared on basis of merit. It is getting highly competitive, just like Police selection.

Hi,
According to me, you cannot go for CFA because it is hard for you. You are from a software background and you even don't know the basics of finance. But yes, digital marketing is best for you because you have maximum knowledge of computers.
All the best.

The choice should entirely depend on your preference. You should choose a career, which you will love to pursue in future also, and you should not have any guilt for choosing it. You should try to analyze pros and cons of both the fields, find out which field you would want to continue, and then decide. But, whatever you chose, you should give your 100% to it, and you will get success.
All the best.

Any civil service aspirant should keep a backup plan in mind. Qualifying in this kind of exams is not certain and after few years of preparation, one finds that other options are not available. So, first and foremost keep some alternative career choices in mind.
Preparation for the exam should be done in a structured way and one should consult and keep himself up to date with recent topics. One way is to go for a coaching.
You can opt for online coaching too. You can visit the below mentioned link:

You should pursue MBA. Try to score more than 97 percentile in management entrance exam. MS is also a good option if you score more than 32 marks in GRE exam. If you want to stick to the technical field, then opt for M.Tech, but competition is very tough for that as there are very few ace colleges for pursuing M.Tech.
