Unlike other engineering programs you do not get a degree or diploma after completion of course. This is a certification course.
During the course one is trained to clear the licence exams conducted by DGCA (governing body for aviation) apart from the regular exams conducted by college.
Clearing of the Gov license exams are mandatory (pass Mark is 70%) to become an engineer.Completion of the course of 3 years does not satisfy the requirements to be an engineer & may need to work as an aircraft technician for a minimum of 2 additional years on any aircraft.
