Generally graduation in History or any arts or economics section enjoys benefit in IAS preparation, Since you are from commerce background and % in 12th is good as well so i recommend you to pursue Economic Hons from Du.
because later on knowledge gained during graduation will be helpful when you will prepare for IAS.

You read NCERT books through out and make a short note for each topic. You may find reference books like history of Bipin Chandra and many more but read first you NCERT books once.

As such graduation in any subjects would be okay, but still then taking subjects like Geography, Political Science can be beneficial to a little extent.
