Its preproduction artist , char & story board artist , art director, 3D modeller, animator, rigger, 3D & 2D vfx artist , rendering and lighting artis , production coordinator and many more , all has similar kind of scope , but rigger and 3D vfx has little more demands in time .

Yes,editing is a good option, photo editing also is a part but video editing has better scope .

Yes animation is a good career . Normally the sal depends on your skills , city , company & projects in initial time then it also depends on experience . Normally the basic sal starts from 8500 Rs to 35,000 Rs per month as a fresher depending on various factors as i have mentioned .

It is really tough to directly comment any institute best or not or answer which is the best institute in a city or country , especially for domains like animation and VFX or gaming where many institutes offer many types of courses for different duration for the almost all the same pipeline .
We need to see the content of the course , duration, cost , infra, earlier students outputs and skill developed , in-time course completion record , certification process & delivery of certificate in time etc.
Also Same Brand has different centers and branches and fortunately/unfortunately all does not perform the same . Some centers are doing great

If you have more time in hand for learning, definitely join a 2D course first , if you expertise in 2D and 2D animation , than definitely you have added advantage, further you join a long term 3D animation course , which will boost your career.

Hey Pankaj,
It's good to see you confident that you can crack JEE after two years of preparation. But having 2 years of gap in your studies will harm you in your career. It is suggested to take admission in some top private universities as it will give you better results than dropping 2 years. You should look out for some best universities and apply for them.
