Yes IT is a lucrative field at present. It offers nice placements as well since IT industry is growing at a fast pace. You do can make a good career if you have the skills in you. In your case you should complete your MCA and than go for either NET or Phd . After wards you will get the growth in both the ways ( Salary and Position ) too. Even you can apply to colleges for teaching.
