Hi Ritika
Selection between B.A. Psychology and BBA Event Management will depend on
1. Your long term goals
2. Your orientation.
B.A. Psychology can be good for you if you wish to become an academician, researcher or even you can be a practicing Psychiatrist. You can involve yourself in counselling jobs also.
BBA Event Management requires creativity, lot of networking, hard toil and labour at odd places and odd temperature. But yes you will get a quick access to corporate life.
Hope it serves your purpose.
Good Luck!

Hi Akash,
Best would be to continue with your pg degree after BSc.(IT). You can go for MSc.(IT) or MCA after BSc. Most of the companies these days are having web based projects. Therefore the skills required are knowledge of Java, Oracle, VB.Net, Asp.Net, C#, XML etc. Normally these subjects are covered as part of the BSc. syllabus, but are not covered extensively. So best would be to join these course separately from a private institute like NIIT, STG, Aptech etc. and at the same time clear their certifications too. A SUN certified Java programmer is given more value than a Java expert, who is not certified. Similarly target clearing M

Hi,
I would recommend you to an MBA as it will help you add more weight age to your profile and help you expand in your career. MBA courses are worthless if not pursued from a premier institute. I would personally suggest that you check out a college like Welingkar. I have heard that they have really good programs.

Dear,
It is so true that MBA and PGDM are a little bit different. It is just because PGDM provides you to live in the management circumstances while MBA provides you the important knowledge and helps you learn the basic way to manage an organsation. I would suggest you that you can pursue any of the course to understand the managing power and will also suggest you JIMS rohini, if you go for PGDM. The college provides many live project and intership options which will enhance your managerial personality.
